No Hate or Dehumanization
Comments that attack people on the basis of protected characteristics, celebrate violence against a group, or use dehumanizing slurs may be removed.
No Spam or Manipulation
Commercial spam, repetitive promotional posting, malicious links, automated flooding, impersonation and coordinated manipulation may be removed or blocked.
Privacy
Do not post private addresses, phone numbers, passwords, financial information or other sensitive personal data about yourself or another person.
Stay Relevant
Comments should relate to the article or the discussion it reasonably creates. Repeated off-topic posting can be removed.
Moderation
Comments may be held for moderation, filtered for spam, removed or closed. Moderation decisions are made to protect the discussion and the publication; they do not imply endorsement of comments that remain visible.
