The Royal Insider corrects material factual errors and aims to make substantive corrections visible to readers.
What We Correct
We correct inaccurate names, dates, quotations, figures, descriptions, attributions and other factual statements when the available evidence shows that the published version was wrong. We may also clarify wording that was technically accurate but reasonably likely to leave readers with a materially misleading impression.
How Corrections Appear
Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or style fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not alter meaning. Material corrections should be accompanied by a correction or editor’s note explaining what changed. The theme’s editorial system can retain a correction history for accountable newsroom use.
Developing Stories
Adding later-confirmed information to a developing story is normally an update, not a correction. If an earlier version contained inaccurate information, the change should be treated as a correction.

Editorial Judgment
Disagreement with analysis, criticism or opinion is not by itself a factual error. We will nevertheless review good-faith challenges and correct underlying facts when warranted.
