The Royal Insider may consider original pitches from experienced writers, reporters, researchers and subject-matter experts whose work fits the publication.
What to Pitch
Strong pitches identify a clear story, why it matters now, what original reporting or expertise you can bring, and why the subject fits our royal-news audience. A pitch should be more specific than a broad topic idea.
Original Work
Do not submit work copied from another publication or content that you do not have the right to offer. Disclose if the same piece is simultaneously under consideration elsewhere.
Sourcing
News pitches should explain the likely sourcing. Do not promise access to confidential or unlawfully obtained material you are not authorized to share.
AI and Automation
Contributors remain responsible for the accuracy and originality of submitted work regardless of any tools used during preparation. Materially synthetic media or automated content should be disclosed to the editor.
How to Pitch
